• Do from now on a list of universities that you want to visit and find the next Open Day dates on their website before making your programme. Several dates are often available on the May and June.

• Make sure the Open Day aims good the educational level which interests you, that is to say the level undergraduate for your high school students (equivalent to an undergraduate degree). Furthermore, some universities organise open days by type of course. This is the case for example of University of Bath in the United Kingdom which organises two different dates each year depending on the subject. 

• Register online Quickly. To take part in most of these Open Days, you need to register in advance. The same applies to attending the conferences. Therefore, take a good look at the day's schedules to choose what interests you.
   
• Plan your visit, check if there are any guided tours scheduled and think in advance to the questions you would like to ask : 

– How are application files assessed, which subjects are it preferable to have studied, and is an interview planned as part of the recruitment process?

– How many hours of lessons are there each week? How are the exams organised?

– What further study options are available? What jobs do graduates go into?

You will have the opportunity to ask your questions during the webinars or chat live with teachers, admissions staff and students.

But of course bear in mind that universities are there to sell themselves and attract the best candidates. So they are going to present themselves in their best light, do not be dazzled by their marketing. Also think about ensure international reputation of the university and of training recognition for subsequent access to good master's degrees.
